Client: American Federation of State County & Municipal
Employees
Goal: For its biennial convention AFSCME wanted to
create a fresh and modern design for the delegate’s
conference bag.
Solution: Monsoon worked
closely with several Union shops to incorporate the
latest techniques available to design prototypes for
the client to review. The winning selection was a
custom padded laptop bag with media port and back-flap
for securing to larger rolling bags for easy carrying.
Monsoon accompanied the client on a site visit to
the factory to check that all requirements for Union/USA
production were followed. Monsoon specializes in supplying
USA/Union-made materials (buttons, pens, magnets,
key chains, etc.) for many of AFSCME’s ongoing organizing
campaigns and member programs.
